Taming Lena

Brat 12 min read 3107 words

“Are you sure you know what you’re doing with that thing?” I asked, leaning against the kitchen island, watching Lena struggle with the espresso machine. It was new, a gift I’d bought her last week, and its array of chrome buttons and steaming nozzles clearly intimidated her.

She shot me a glare over her shoulder, her dark hair a wild mess from sleep. “Of course, I do. It’s not rocket science, Julian.” She pressed a button. A wheezing sound came from the machine, followed by a pathetic dribble of brown liquid. She stared at it, then at me. “Okay, maybe it’s a little like rocket science.”

I chuckled, pushing off the island and walking over to her. “Here, let me.” I reached for the steam wand, but she slapped my hand away. Her touch was light, playful, but firm enough to make her point.

“No! I’ve got this. You always try to take over.” She crossed her arms, a pout forming on her lips. It was a familiar look, one that usually preceded some act of defiance.

“Because you usually make a mess, or break something,” I countered, though I knew it was useless. Lena was nothing if not stubborn. It was one of the things I loved about her, even when it drove me insane.

She stuck her tongue out at me. “I will master this machine. And then I will make you the best latte you’ve ever had. Just you wait.” She turned back to the espresso maker, her brow furrowed in concentration. She fiddled with a knob, then hit another button. This time, the machine hissed, and a burst of steam shot out, narrowly missing her hand. She yelped, jumping back.

I bit back a laugh. “See? Rocket science.”

She turned to me, her eyes narrowed. “You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”

“Immensely,” I admitted, a grin spreading across my face. She picked up a dishtowel and tossed it at me. I caught it easily. “Come on, let me show you. It’s not that hard.”

She hesitated for a moment, then sighed dramatically. “Fine. But only because I’m starving and need coffee.” She stepped aside, letting me take her place in front of the machine. I quickly adjusted the settings, showed her how to tamp the grounds, and demonstrated the proper way to steam the milk. She watched, surprisingly quiet, her gaze fixed on my hands.

When I was done, I presented her with a perfect, steaming latte. She took a tentative sip, her eyes widening. “Oh. Wow. That’s… actually really good.”

“I told you,” I said, smirking. “Now, do you want to try?”

She shook her head. “Later. Right now, I want to drink this. And maybe… maybe you can make me breakfast too?” Her voice was soft, almost innocent, a stark contrast to her usual challenging tone. It was a rare moment of vulnerability, and I knew better than to push it.

“Sure,” I said, already reaching for the skillet. “What do you want?”

“Pancakes. With extra syrup.” She settled onto a stool, sipping her latte, watching me with an amused expression. “And don’t burn them this time.”

“I’ve never burned your pancakes,” I protested, though I vaguely recalled an incident a few months back involving a slightly charred batch. She just smiled, her eyes twinkling. I shook my head, a familiar warmth spreading through me. This was Lena. Always pushing, always testing, always keeping me on my toes.

Later that evening, after a surprisingly productive day of errands and a quick run to the grocery store, we were lounging on the couch. I was trying to read a book, but Lena was restless. She kept shifting, humming, and occasionally poking me with her foot.

“Can you stop that?” I asked, without looking up from my page. “I’m trying to concentrate.”

“Concentrate on what?” she chirped, her foot pressing harder into my thigh. “That boring book? Come on, Julian, let’s do something fun.”

“I am doing something fun,” I replied, turning a page. “This book is actually quite interesting.”

She let out a dramatic sigh. “You’re no fun. You’re always reading or working. We never do anything exciting anymore.” She snatched the book from my hands, closing it and placing it on the coffee table. “What do you want to do?” she asked, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

I looked at her, truly looked at her. She was wearing a loose t-shirt and a pair of worn-out shorts, her hair still a bit messy from her earlier attempt at the espresso machine. But even in her casual clothes, she radiated an energy that was hard to ignore. “What do you have in mind?” I asked, already suspecting her intentions.

She grinned. “Let’s play a game.”

“What kind of game?” I asked, a sense of foreboding settling in. Lena’s games rarely ended in a conventional manner.

“A new one,” she said, her voice dropping to a low, conspiratorial whisper. “It’s called… ‘Don’t Get Caught’.”

I raised an eyebrow. “And how do you play ‘Don’t Get Caught’?”

“Well,” she began, leaning closer, her breath warm against my ear, “I’m going to try to… distract you. And you have to try to ignore me. If you get distracted, you lose. And if I manage to distract you completely, I win.” She pulled back, her eyes sparkling. “Sound fun?”

I considered her proposal. It sounded less like a game and more like an open invitation to chaos. “And what’s the prize for winning?”

She traced a finger along my jawline, her touch light as a feather. “If I win, you have to do whatever I want for the rest of the night. No questions asked.” She paused, then added, “And if you win…” She bit her lip, a thoughtful expression on her face. “If you win, I’ll do whatever you want for the rest of the night. No questions asked.”

It was a dangerous game, one I knew I was unlikely to win. But the challenge in her eyes, the playful glint, was irresistible. “Alright,” I said, a slow smile spreading across my face. “You’re on. But fair warning, I’m very good at ignoring you.”

She laughed, a bright, melodic sound. “We’ll see about that.” She then got up from the couch and started to wander around the living room, ostensibly looking for something. But her movements were exaggerated, her hips swaying a little more than necessary, her t-shirt riding up as she stretched to reach for a book on a high shelf. I tried to focus on the TV, where a documentary about penguins was playing, but my attention kept getting drawn back to her.

She paused in front of the bookshelf, her back to me, and slowly, deliberately, bent over to pick up a book from the bottom shelf. Her shorts, already short, rode up even further, revealing the smooth curve of her ass. I felt my breath catch in my throat. I forced myself to look away, back at the penguins, who were now waddling awkwardly across the ice.

“Find anything interesting?” I asked, my voice a little rougher than I intended.

She straightened up, turning to face me, a book in her hand. “Oh, just this old thing. Remember when we read this together?” She held up a dog-eared copy of a classic novel. “It was so romantic.” She sat back down on the couch, but instead of settling beside me, she sat on the armrest, her legs dangling over my lap. Her bare calf brushed against my arm, sending a jolt through me.

I pretended to be engrossed in the penguins. “Yes, I remember. It was… a long time ago.”

She leaned closer, her hair tickling my cheek. “Do you remember the part where the hero finally declares his love? It was so passionate.” She started to recite a passage from the book, her voice soft and alluring. But as she spoke, her hand found its way to my knee, her fingers lightly caressing the fabric of my jeans.

I cleared my throat. “Lena, I’m trying to watch this documentary.”

She ignored me, her fingers moving higher up my thigh. “He said he couldn’t live without her. That her eyes were like stars, and her smile was the sunrise.” She leaned even closer, her lips brushing against my ear. “Do you think my eyes are like stars, Julian?”

I could feel the heat radiating from her body, the faint scent of her shampoo, the soft brush of her lips against my skin. It was getting harder and harder to ignore her. “They’re… very nice eyes,” I managed, my voice a strained whisper.

She giggled, her fingers still dancing on my thigh. “Just ‘nice’? I thought you were supposed to be passionate.” She then got up again, walking over to the stereo. She put on some slow, sensual jazz music, the kind that always got to me. Then she started to sway, her hips moving in time with the music, her eyes never leaving mine.

“What are you doing?” I asked, my heart starting to pound in my chest. The penguins were long forgotten.

“Just dancing,” she purred, her movements becoming more fluid, more provocative. She held out a hand to me. “Care to join me?”

I knew if I got up, I would lose. I would succumb to her game. But the thought of sitting there, watching her dance like that, was almost unbearable. “I’m good,” I said, forcing myself to look away.

She just smiled, a knowing, mischievous smile. She continued to dance, her eyes fixed on me, challenging me, daring me. Her t-shirt, already loose, began to ride up as she stretched, revealing a sliver of her toned stomach. I felt a knot form in my stomach, a familiar ache. She knew exactly what she was doing. She knew my weaknesses, and she was exploiting every single one of them.

She twirled, her shorts flaring out for a moment, and then she was closer, right in front of me, her hands on her hips, her eyes sparkling with triumph. “Are you sure you’re good, Julian?” she whispered, her voice husky. “Because you look a little… distracted.”

I swallowed hard. She was right. I was completely distracted. The game was over. I had lost. And she knew it. She had a smug look on her face, a triumphant glint in her eyes. “Alright, alright, you win,” I said, throwing my hands up in surrender. “What do you want?”

She grinned, a slow, predatory smile. “I want you to get down on your knees.”

My eyes widened. “What?”

“You heard me,” she said, her voice firm, but still playful. “Get down on your knees, Julian. And beg.”

I stared at her, then slowly, reluctantly, I got down on my knees in front of her. She stood over me, her hands on her hips, a victorious smirk on her face. “Now, beg,” she repeated, her voice a little softer this time, but no less demanding.

I looked up at her, my heart pounding. “Lena, what are you doing?”

“I’m claiming my prize,” she said, her eyes sparkling. “You lost. Now you have to do whatever I want.” She leaned down, her face close to mine. “And what I want right now… is for you to beg me to kiss you.”

I hesitated, a blush creeping up my neck. Begging wasn’t really my style. But the look in her eyes, the playful challenge, was irresistible. “Please, Lena,” I whispered, my voice rough. “Please, kiss me.”

She smiled, a slow, sensual smile. “That’s better.” She then leaned in, her lips brushing mine, a soft, teasing touch. I instinctively reached for her, wanting to pull her closer, but she pulled back, just out of reach.

“Ah-ah-ah,” she purred. “No touching. Not yet. You have to earn it.” She leaned in again, her lips almost touching mine, and then pulled back once more. It was pure torture, and she knew it.

“Lena,” I groaned, my patience wearing thin. “Just kiss me.”

She giggled. “Where’s the fun in that? You have to suffer a little first.” She then turned, walking over to the stereo and turning up the music. She started to dance again, her movements even more provocative than before. She kept her eyes on me, her smile challenging me, daring me to break my resolve.

I watched her, my body aching with a desperate longing. She was a whirlwind of motion, a blur of curves and shadows, and I couldn’t tear my eyes away. She was playing with me, teasing me, pushing me to my absolute limit. And I knew, deep down, that she wouldn’t stop until I completely lost control.

She danced closer, her hips swaying, her eyes burning into mine. She was so close I could feel the heat radiating off her body. She reached out, her fingers tracing the outline of my jaw, then moving down my neck, sending shivers down my spine. “Still good, Julian?” she whispered, her voice a low purr. “Or are you finally ready to admit defeat?”

I grabbed her wrist, my grip firm. “I admitted defeat an hour ago, you little brat,” I said, my voice rough with desire. I pulled her down, bringing her lips crashing against mine. She gasped, but quickly responded, her arms wrapping around my neck, pulling me closer. The kiss was desperate, hungry, a culmination of all the tension she had been building all night.

Her lips were soft and warm, tasting of coffee and something uniquely hers. I deepened the kiss, letting my tongue explore the warmth of her mouth. She moaned, a soft sound that vibrated through me, and I felt a surge of triumph. She might have won the game, but I was about to win the war.

I pulled back, just enough to look into her eyes. They were wide, dilated, a clear sign of her own burgeoning desire. “You think you’re so clever, don’t you?” I whispered, my voice a low growl. “Playing your little games.”

She just smiled, a breathless, triumphant smile. “It’s fun, isn’t it?”

“Oh, it’s fun, alright,” I said, my fingers already at the hem of her t-shirt. “But now, it’s my turn to play.” I pulled her t-shirt over her head, revealing a simple black bra. She shivered, but didn’t protest, her eyes fixed on mine.

I pushed her gently onto the couch, following her down, my body covering hers. She squirmed beneath me, a playful resistance that only fueled my desire. “Julian, what are you doing?” she whispered, though there was no real surprise in her voice.

“I’m claiming my prize,” I said, echoing her earlier words. “And my prize… is you.” I leaned down, kissing her neck, her collarbone, feeling the rapid pulse beneath my lips. She arched her back, a soft moan escaping her lips.

“But… I won,” she protested, though her hands were already in my hair, pulling me closer.

“You won the game,” I corrected, my voice husky. “But this isn’t a game anymore, Lena. This is real.” I moved my hand to her shorts, my fingers tracing the outline of her thigh. She gasped, her body tensing beneath me.

“Julian,” she breathed, her eyes closing, her head tilting back. “You’re being… dominant.”

“Is that a problem?” I whispered, my lips brushing against her ear. “Do you want me to stop?”

She shook her head, a barely perceptible movement. “No,” she breathed. “Don’t stop. Please.” Her honesty, her raw desire, was a powerful aphrodisiac. It was exactly what I had been craving, the moment when her playful defiance melted into genuine submission.

I smiled, a slow, satisfied smile. “Good.” I then kissed her again, deeply, passionately, letting all the pent-up desire of the evening explode between us. Her body responded instantly, her hands clutching at my back, her legs wrapping around my waist, pulling me even closer. The jazz music played softly in the background, a sensual soundtrack to our unspoken desires.

I moved slowly, deliberately, savoring every touch, every gasp, every moan. I wanted to draw this out, to make her feel every inch of pleasure, every ounce of surrender. She was a fire, a wild, untamed thing, and I was determined to enjoy every moment of taming her.

Her fingers dug into my shoulders as I moved lower, exploring the soft skin of her stomach, then her hips. She was writhing beneath me, her body alive with a hungry anticipation. “Julian,” she whimpered, her voice hoarse with desire. “Please. Now.”

I looked into her eyes, seeing the raw need reflected there, the complete surrender. It was a beautiful sight, one that made my own blood sing. “Say it,” I whispered, my voice rough. “Tell me what you want.”

She hesitated for a moment, then her eyes met mine, a flicker of her old defiance still there, but quickly replaced by an overwhelming longing. “I want you,” she choked out, her voice almost too quiet to hear. “I want you inside me, Julian. Now. Please.”

It was all I needed to hear. I leaned down, kissing her one last time, a deep, passionate kiss that promised everything. Then, with a slow, deliberate movement, I finally gave her what she had been begging for. She cried out, her body arching against mine, and we were lost in the heady rhythm of our desire, the jazz music a distant, sensual hum in the background.

Later, much later, we lay tangled together on the couch, the remnants of our passion still clinging to the air. Lena’s head was resting on my chest, her breathing even and soft. I ran my fingers through her messy hair, a contented smile on my face.

She stirred, looking up at me with sleepy eyes. “I still won, you know,” she mumbled, a faint smirk on her lips.

I chuckled, pulling her closer. “Did you, now? Because it felt a lot like I won.”

She giggled, pressing a soft kiss to my chest. “We both won, I guess.” She paused, then added, her voice a little more serious, “Thank you, Julian. For… for everything.”

I kissed the top of her head. “Anytime, brat. Anytime.” I knew she would be back to her usual tricks tomorrow, pushing boundaries, testing limits. But I also knew that beneath all that playful defiance, there was a deep well of love and trust. And for now, that was more than enough. I held her close, listening to the soft rhythm of her breathing, feeling completely, utterly content. The world outside could wait. Right now, all that mattered was Lena, and the quiet, electric peace of our shared space.
