Loose Lips

Brat 12 min read 3119 words

“You’re late,” I said, not looking up from my phone. The apartment door had just clicked shut, but I kept my eyes glued to the screen, scrolling through some inane TikTok feed. It was a Tuesday, meaning he was exactly seven minutes later than his usual arrival time. I knew his schedule better than he did.

He sighed, a low, drawn-out sound that was meant to convey exhaustion but mostly just conveyed annoyance. “Traffic was a nightmare, Jules. Give me a break.” He tossed his keys onto the small ceramic dish by the door, and I could hear the jingle as they settled. I didn't respond, just scrolled to the next video, a girl attempting to bake a cake with her cat on her head. I snickered.

“Something funny?” he asked, his voice closer now. I felt the slight shift in the air as he moved into the living room, probably dropping his work bag by the couch. I still didn’t look up. “Just this idiot trying to make a cake.”

He walked around the back of the sofa, and I could feel his presence hovering over me. His hand landed on the top of my head, ruffling my hair playfully. I leaned away, pulling my head out of reach. “Hey, don’t mess up my hair. I just did it.”

He chuckled, a dry sound. “You’re being particularly charming tonight.” He walked into the kitchen, and I heard the rustle of a bag – probably the takeout he’d picked up. “I got Chinese, your favorite. Happy now?”

I finally put my phone down, letting it clatter onto the coffee table. I stretched, arching my back, my t-shirt riding up slightly. “Maybe. Depends on how good it is.” I watched him from the living room as he started unpacking the containers onto the small kitchen island. His shoulders were broad under his shirt, a little tight from the day. He looked tired, but also… something else. Like he was trying to hold something in.

“It’s the usual place, Jules. You know it’s good.” He opened a container, and the smell of soy sauce and ginger wafted into the living room. My stomach grumbled. “Okay, fine. But if they skimped on the noodles, I’m sending you back out.”

He stopped, turning to face me. He had a pair of chopsticks in his hand, tapping them lightly against the edge of the container. His eyes were dark, a little narrowed. “You know, sometimes, I wonder if you actually *like* me.”

I grinned, a slow, deliberate thing. “Oh, I like you, alright. I just like seeing you squirm more.” I pushed myself off the couch, walking towards the kitchen, swaying my hips a little more than necessary. I knew he was watching. He always did.

I leaned against the counter opposite him, picking up a stray piece of crispy noodle that had fallen out of the bag. I popped it into my mouth, crunching loudly. “So, bad day at the office?”

He put the chopsticks down, a little too forcefully. “It was fine. Standard Tuesday. Nothing to report.” He opened another container, the steam rising. I watched the way his jaw tensed. He was trying to be calm, trying to let it all go. But I could see the cracks.

“Oh, come on. Don’t tell me you were a good little boy all day.” I leaned closer, my voice dropping to a teasing whisper. “Did someone piss you off? Did you have to bite your tongue?”

He ignored me, dishing out rice into two bowls. I reached across the counter, snagging a spring roll from the container before he could even put it on a plate. I took a big bite, making a soft moan of pleasure. “Mmm, perfect. You know, you’re not entirely useless.”

He froze, his hand hovering over the rice cooker. He slowly set the scoop down. He turned to me, and the look in his eyes was no longer tired. It was sharp, a little dangerous. “Jules.” His voice was low, a warning.

I just smiled, taking another bite of the spring roll. “What? Just giving credit where credit’s due. Don’t get all sensitive on me, honey. It’s not a good look.” I chewed slowly, deliberately, making sure he watched every movement of my mouth.

He walked around the island, slowly, deliberately, until he was standing directly in front of me. He was tall, and I had to tilt my head back to meet his gaze. He smelled like his cologne mixed with a faint hint of stale office air. “You’re really pushing it tonight, aren’t you?”

I shrugged, feigning innocence. “Am I? I thought I was just being myself. You know, the charming, delightful Jules you claim to love so much.” I batted my eyelashes, a clear exaggeration. He didn't laugh. He didn't even crack a smile.

His hand shot out, not touching me, but slamming down on the counter right beside my head. The spring roll jumped in my hand. My heart gave a little flutter, a nervous excitement. This was it. This was what I craved. The moment he broke.

“Don’t play coy with me,” he said, his voice a low growl. “You know exactly what you’re doing.” His eyes were intense, searching mine. I could feel the heat radiating off him. My breath hitched, just a little.

I swallowed, suddenly aware of the silence in the apartment. The only sound was the distant hum of the refrigerator. “And what exactly is that?” I asked, my voice a little softer than I intended. I was still pushing, but a part of me was also bracing for the inevitable.

“You’re trying to piss me off,” he stated, not a question. “You’re trying to see how far you can go before I lose my temper. Before I… react.” His gaze dropped to my lips, lingering there for a moment before snapping back to my eyes.

I let a small, teasing smile play on my mouth. “Is it working?” I asked, my voice barely a whisper. I could feel the tension building between us, thick and heavy. It was a familiar feeling, one that always made my blood sing.

He leaned in closer, his face just inches from mine. I could feel his breath on my cheek. “Oh, it’s working, alright. You’re about to find out just how well it’s working.” His eyes held a dangerous glint, and I felt a thrill shoot through me. This was it. The moment of truth.

“What are you going to do?” I challenged, my voice a little breathless. I knew what I wanted him to do. I wanted him to take control, to stop me from being a brat, to show me who was boss. I wanted him to remind me that despite my teasing, he was still stronger, still dominant.

His hand, the one that had been resting on the counter, moved. Not to touch me, not yet. Instead, he reached out and took the spring roll from my hand, placing it gently back into the container. Then, slowly, deliberately, his other hand reached out and gripped my chin, tilting my head up slightly, forcing me to look directly into his eyes.

“First,” he said, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through me, “you’re going to stop talking. You’ve done enough talking for one night.” He squeezed my chin gently, a warning. I felt a shiver of anticipation run down my spine.

I tried to say something, a retort, a sarcastic remark, but he squeezed harder. Not painfully, but enough to make me stop. My mouth closed. He nodded, a slow, satisfied movement. “Good girl.” The words were laced with a possessive edge that made my core clench.

He didn’t let go of my chin. Instead, he used his thumb to trace the line of my jaw, a light, almost imperceptible touch that sent goosebumps racing across my skin. “You think this is a game, don’t you?” he murmured, his eyes still locked on mine. “You think you can just push and push, and I’ll just… take it.”

I swallowed, trying to find my voice, but it seemed to have deserted me. All I could do was stare at him, my heart pounding in my chest. He was so close, his scent filling my nostrils, his heat enveloping me. This was more than just a game; this was a dance, a dangerous, thrilling dance.

“Well,” he continued, his thumb now stroking my bottom lip, “tonight, the game changes. Tonight, you’re going to learn what happens when you push too far.” His eyes darkened, a predatory gleam entering them. I felt a sharp fear, a mix of apprehension and pure, unadulterated excitement.

His head dipped, and I thought he was going to kiss me, but he stopped just short, his lips hovering an inch from mine. I could feel the warmth of his breath, the subtle movement of his lips as he spoke. “You want to test my patience, Jules? Fine. But be prepared for the consequences.”

He pulled back, just enough to meet my eyes again, and then, without another word, he scooped me up, one arm under my knees, the other supporting my back. I gasped, surprised by the sudden movement, but I didn't resist. I wrapped my arms around his neck, my fingers tangling in his hair. He was strong, so much stronger than he let on.

He carried me out of the kitchen, past the untouched Chinese food, and towards the bedroom. I buried my face in his shoulder, inhaling his scent. My heart was still pounding, but now it was with a different kind of excitement, a hungry, demanding kind of excitement. This was exactly what I wanted. This was the consequence.

He kicked the bedroom door shut with his foot, the sound echoing in the sudden quiet. He didn’t drop me on the bed. Instead, he held me against him, pressing me into his body, until I could feel every hard line of him. “You think you’re so smart, don’t you?” he whispered against my ear, his voice husky. “Always with the clever remarks, always with the attitude.”

I whimpered, a small, involuntary sound. I was losing control, and a part of me, the part that loved to push boundaries, was absolutely thrilled. He was taking over, just like I wanted him to. He walked to the bed, setting me down gently, but not letting go. He hovered over me, his hands on either side of my head, trapping me.

“Tonight,” he said, his eyes burning into mine, “you’re going to be quiet. You’re going to listen. And you’re going to do exactly as you’re told.” He leaned down, finally, and kissed me. It wasn't a gentle kiss. It was deep and demanding, a claim. His mouth moved over mine, exploring, tasting, taking. I responded instantly, my own lips parting, my tongue meeting his. All the pent-up tension, all the teasing, all the defiance, melted away under the intensity of his kiss.

His hand left the bed and moved to my waist, gripping me firmly. He pulled me closer until there was no space left between us. I could feel the hard ridge of his arousal pressing against my thigh, a clear indication of just how much I had provoked him. A thrill shot through me, a raw satisfaction. I had wanted this, had been asking for this, in my own bratty way, all night.

He broke the kiss, pulling back just enough to look at me, his eyes dark with desire. “You like this, don’t you?” he murmured, his voice rough. “You like it when I get mad. You like it when I stop playing nice.”

I couldn’t speak, could only nod, my breath coming in short, shallow gasps. My chest was heaving, my body thrumming with a desperate need. He watched my face, a slow, predatory smile spreading across his lips. “Good. Because I’m not playing nice anymore.”

His hand slid from my waist to the hem of my t-shirt. Slowly, deliberately, he pulled it up, over my head, until it was discarded somewhere behind him. I shivered as the cool air hit my skin, but it was quickly replaced by the heat of his gaze. He took his time, his eyes sweeping over my body, lingering on my breasts, my stomach, my hips.

“Such a pretty mouth,” he whispered, his finger tracing the line of my lower lip, “and so much trouble comes out of it.” He leaned down and kissed me again, a soft, almost tender kiss that belied the intensity in his eyes. But then his hand was at the snap of my jeans, unbuttoning them with practiced ease. The zipper made a soft rasping sound as it slid down.

I lifted my hips instinctively, helping him push my jeans and underwear down my legs. He didn’t rush, letting the fabric pool around my ankles before kicking them off the bed. Now I was completely exposed to him, lying there, vulnerable, and utterly ravenous for his touch.

He leaned over me, supporting himself on his forearms, his body heat enveloping mine. “You know,” he said, his voice a low growl, “I had a really long day. I just wanted to come home, eat some Chinese, and relax. But no. You had to stir the pot, didn’t you?”

I looked up at him, my eyes wide, my lips still tingling from his kisses. I wanted to apologize, to say something sweet, but the words wouldn’t come. All I could do was stare, my body aching for him. He saw the desire in my eyes, the unspoken plea, and a satisfied smirk touched his lips.

“Don’t worry,” he said, his voice dropping to a seductive purr, “I’m not going to let you get away with it. Not tonight.” He lowered his head, his lips finding the hollow of my throat. I arched my back, a gasp escaping my lips as his mouth worked its way down, leaving a trail of fire in its wake. His beard stubble scraped gently against my skin, sending delicious shivers through me.

His hands moved to my hips, gripping them, pulling me closer still. I could feel his hardness pressing against me, a constant reminder of his desire, and of my power to ignite it. He moved his hips slightly, a slow, grinding motion that made a moan tear from my throat. This was it. This was the raw, electric response I had been chasing all evening.

He pulled back again, his eyes locking with mine. “Are you going to be a good girl now?” he asked, his voice rough with suppressed desire. “Are you going to listen to me?”

I nodded, frantically, desperate to please him, desperate for him to continue. My teasing, my defiance, had led me here, to this moment of absolute surrender. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

“Good,” he said, a triumphant smile spreading across his face. “Because I have a lot of things I want to do to you tonight, and I don’t want any backtalk.” He shifted, moving between my legs, his knee gently pushing them apart. My breath caught in my throat. He was going to take me, finally, completely.

He lowered himself, slowly, giving me time to feel every inch of him as he settled between my thighs. The friction, the heat, the sheer anticipation, was almost unbearable. I whimpered again, my hands reaching up to tangle in his hair, pulling him closer.

“Easy, wild one,” he murmured, his voice laced with amusement, even as his eyes burned with hunger. “We have all night.” He leaned down, his lips finding mine in another fierce, possessive kiss. And then, with a slow, deliberate thrust, he entered me.

I cried out, a mix of pleasure and surprise, my body arching to meet his. He filled me completely, stretching me, taking me over. The feeling was intense, overwhelming, exactly what I had been craving. I wrapped my legs around his waist, pulling him deeper, wanting more, always more.

He moved inside me, slowly at first, then picking up the pace, his thrusts becoming harder, more urgent. I met him stroke for stroke, my body responding instinctively, mindlessly. All thoughts of teasing, of pushing boundaries, vanished, replaced by the raw, raw rhythm of our bodies moving together.

“Tell me,” he panted against my neck, his voice thick with desire, “tell me you like this. Tell me you like being taken.”

“Yes,” I gasped, my voice hoarse, “yes, I love it. Don’t stop. Please, don’t stop.” My hands gripped his shoulders, my nails digging into his skin, an unconscious act of desperation. He groaned, a deep, guttural sound, and thrust even harder.

The world narrowed to just us, to the feel of his body against mine, to the sound of our breathing, to the insistent rhythm of his movements. I was a tempest, a whirlwind of sensation, spiraling higher and higher with every thrust. I felt the tension building inside me, a sharp, agonizing pressure that demanded release.

He watched my face, his eyes fixed on mine, as I teetered on the brink. He knew exactly what he was doing, exactly how to push me, not with words, but with his body. And I loved him for it. I loved him for taking charge, for showing me that sometimes, being a brat had its very satisfying consequences.

With one final, powerful thrust, I shattered, my body convulsing around him, a guttural cry tearing from my throat. He followed moments later, his own groan echoing mine, his body trembling as he emptied himself into me. He collapsed onto me, his weight a welcome pressure, his breath hot against my ear.

We lay there for a long time, entangled, our bodies slick with sweat, our breathing slowly returning to normal. He shifted, pulling me closer, tucking my head under his chin. His hand found my hair, stroking it gently. “See?” he whispered, his voice soft now, post-climax. “That’s what happens when you’re a good girl.”

I chuckled, a soft, contented sound. “Oh, I think I was a very bad girl,” I murmured, my voice muffled against his chest. “And you loved every minute of it.”

He squeezed me tighter. “Maybe,” he admitted, a smile in his voice. “But you’re still not getting Chinese tonight. You’re going to be too tired to eat.”

I grinned, closing my eyes. He was right. And honestly, I didn’t care. The satisfaction I felt right now was far more fulfilling than any takeout could ever be. He had taken control, just like I had wanted, and the outcome was perfect. Tonight, being a brat had truly paid off.
